It's been ten years since I graduated from high school and left Huntsville, first for College Station and then the Big D (guess that could stand for Dallas
and David). I'd say it seems crazy that it's been that long, but so much has happened in those ten years it's not that hard to believe. What I did think would be strange was going back for the reunion and, to be honest, I was surprised by how much fun it was. I've really only remained
close with one person, Erin - we were next door neighbors and each other's first girlfriend, then also wound up being college roommates (and she a bridesmaid in our wedding). Sadly enough, most everyone else I just keep up with on Facebook. Guess going off to different schools and ending up in different cities will do that to ya. It was so neat to hang out with everyone again, hear their stories, and see how they have or haven't changed. David was a good sport (as always) and seemed to have an equally fun time, despite only knowing Erin and her boyfriend beforehand. Who are we kidding, the guy never meets a stranger! As a side bonus, Grace got some good GramB and Papa John time in. Thanks to my mom for being an amazing hostess and babysitter. :)
