Big Night Out
Thanks to a friend's 30th birthday, we got to enjoy a night out on the town with our BFF's this weekend. We had dinner at Javier's, enjoyed a round of adult beverages in their cozy cigar lounge, and then headed to J. Black's on Henderson for the b-day party. Randomly enough, we happened to be joined by two former SHSU baseball players who'd played under my stepdad (he was the head coach for 26 years) and they definitely livened up the conversation with their walk down memory lane! Even though this would've been a standard Saturday night a few years ago, it was like prom to us now...
